  Will Armageddon be announced through the WT Magazine?

  after seeing all the controversy on the fulfillment of matt 24:14, many are waiting for it to be printed in the wt in order for it to be true.. now, the latest wt is given to jws somewhere around 3 months before it's studied at the wt study (correct me if i'm wrong).

  many, if not most jws don't bother reading the brand new magazines until it's time to prepare for the sunday wt study.. now, given that the wts has to print "new light" in the wt in order for it to be true, it would take three months if not more (printing, shipping time) to announce that armageddon has arrived.. isn't there something wrong with this picture?

  The death of the last Jehovah's Witness

  obituary january 13, 2095. .

  john mcdonald 1990-2095. the last known jehovah's witness died today, of natural causes at his home in brooklyn ny.

  he survived by three children, six grandchildren and two great grand-children.

  BEST BUY employees not allow to say "MERRY CHRISTMAS"

  employees of best buys have been warned they'll be fired if they say "merry christmas' to customers according to bill o'reily,but the chain denies this.

  anyone have more info?

  I really enjoyed shopping in Minnesota this week. I received kind "Merry Christmas" greetings at nearly every store. I thanked them for wishing me such, as I dont hear it much back home.

  what ever happened to wendy burgers?

  they finished their uk operation about 10 years ago , are they still big in the usa?.

  i used to love the square burgers that made them famous and the fries were good as well , including a nice salad bar, far better then the mc**** that we see on every street now..

  NYC people or those that have been there

  it appears we will be visiting nyc from about the 16th of dec. for a week or so.

  we are going to see some long lost friends of my husband in queens and i'm sure they'll show us around, but there's also going to be alot of drinking and catching up between them and i'll have quite a bit of free time on my hands.

  i don't know if we're going to stay with them or not, i've been checking on craigslist for an apt or something we could rent.

  Just off 495 (the Long Island Expy) in Queens this smaller property is clean and comfortable and pretty reasonable (about $110 a night this past summer). I stay there when on business in Brooklyn. Easy access to the highway, parking (although limited- you can find some street parking for your Toyota Ark). No pool. Breakfast is served daily, but its just a decent Continental spread.

  About 2 blocks from the subway to Manhattan. This hotel has an elevator (3 floors), but there are several steps DOWN to the main floor from street level. The FRONT entrance has a lift for stroller or wheelchairs.

  my jw roommate and i were watching boston legal the other night and one case was about someone being fired for their religious beliefs.

  when one of the lawyers was talking to the jury, he mentioned many religions and the odd, quirky things about them.

  he did mention that if you were a jehovah's witness you couldn't buy girl scout cookies.

  there has been talk about wt imagery and the use of subtle hypnotism during meetings.. we had a co who very forcefully wanted the piano players axed and the canned music used for the singing.. has there been any studies done to find sub-harmonic messages hidden in the music?.

  paranoia and conspiracy artists may now address.

  They sure are effective. I have not set foot in a KH in 12 years, and I still catch myself humming them occasionally. It pisses me off to no end to be hummiung "Submission" and such themes.
